I am Jenn. I am a 26 year old graduate student studying for my Master's in children's literature, and have taught 3 years of inner city high school English. I grew up in a fairly small midwestern town and am much like most gals my age -- except that I am pagan.
I have been a practicing witch for about 10 years, though I was a "book witch" for 3 or 4 years before that (meaning I read a lot about the subject but stayed far, far away from actual practice). I am in my 4th of a 5 year program that will prepare me (somewhat) to be a minister of Summerland Grove Pagan Church in Memphis, TN. I currently do not live in TN but am continuing my training via IM-ing classes and through occasional visits to the area. You can learn more about my church through their website which is under my links.
I call myself a kitchenwitch or a hearth witch, meaning that I do most of my magick at home with common every day household items.
This blog will be organized from specific to more general -- the first several posts will be pieces of my Book of Path (an overview of my particular flavor of paganism) and then will branch out to cover generalization of aspects of paganism and resources.
I can be contacted if you have further questions at fatewalker@hotmail.com (Please be sure to put Modern Pagan in the subject line).
So with no further ado -- read...learn...enjoy!
I was asked to put together this blog, penning about my own path and setting up links and resources about paganism in general. I pride myself on being very practical and down to earth in all aspects of my life, including (or perhaps especially) in regards to my religious tendencies.
